Welcome to Crazy's TNVR
Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return
TNVR Donations Here
Wikipedia describes TNR best as "a program through which free-roaming cats (not belonging to particular humans) are humanely trapped; sterilized and medically treated; and returned to the outdoor locations where they were found."
Our goals for this program:
*Help reduce the feral feline population by spaying and neutering
*Create a TNVR ordinance for each county we serve
*Provide shelter for free-roaming felines
*Create a database of colonies and their caretakers
*Educate our communities on TNVR, caretaker roles, and how communities can help
To assist us in achieving our goals, we need your support! Listed below are the items we use for this program. Please consider making a donation: monetary or supplies. The felines will greatly appreciate it!
*Live Animal Traps (Can be found at Tractor Supply, Pet Stores, and online)
*Old towels, heated blankets, puppy pads, newspapers
*Small paper bowls, canned food/tuna
*Bottled water
*Paper towels
*Gift Cards (Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Wal-Mart, Tractor Supply)
...and of course, monetary donations to cover transportation, surgery, and more supplies!
PLEASE NOTE: We use Operation Catnip (Raleigh), SNAP-NC (Mobile Vans), Countryview Animal Hospital (Kinston), and Riverbank Animal Hospital (Kinston) for surgeries. If you are wanting TNVR done for your colony(ies), we ask for $10 toward each feline tnvr. Operation Catnip survives on donations, like us. If you would like to donate directly to Operation Catnip, please visit their site at http://www.ocraleigh.org/
Local residents may borrow traps from us. Applications can be found on our "Forms" page.
